Teen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC) is a 3-day camp that is held each summer for children 12-15 years old. Preference is given to children who have attended RFKC.
Camps are designed for children who are or have been in foster care or involved with the Social Services. Each camp offers a unique opportunity for these children. A 2:1 camper to counselor ratio provides individual attention and the children feel safe, have fun, and experience unconditional love. They discover self-worth and a feeling of success as they accomplish projects and make friends. For them, camp has proven to be a life changing experience.
There are many ways you can donate to TRAC.
GO...You can donate your time and volunteer for camp. We are looking for both counselors and staff members to create a life-long memories for our youth. We have a need for volunteers from preparation to registration all the way to homecoming. There is something you can do!
GIVE...You can donate your finances to send a child to camp. It costs approximately $250 to send one child to camp for a weekend. If you would like to be a part of changing one child's life for an eternity, please consider a tax-deductible gift to TRAC. 100% of all monetary gifts go to making camp a reality for the children.
SPONSOR...You can sponsor special gifts or contributions from your business or organization. We have several individuals and businesses that have been able to provide items and services as gifts to the students of TRAC. Small gifts, school supplies, toiletry items, clothing, and more help make camp memorable for students who may not have more than a garbage bag that they are able to transport between foster homes. Maybe you have a business that could provide a special evening of fun or entertainment for the youth. Whatever you can do, it all makes a difference.
